HVH3 #94 Hash Trash (The Hash Previously known as HVH3 #86

HVH3 #86, Saturday, June 19, 2004 "Outstation Hash at the Ithaca Olympics"
Start: A lovele little 4H camp in Ithaca NY
Hare: Anti-CocK (withe a K, -k?)
Pack: Just bunches of hashers....
Happy Valley Hashers: Madame Flutterby (soon to be Fraü FlatternVorbei), Drill Me Sergeant (soon to be Bohren Sie Mich Sergeant), Comes on Vacation, Canis Lickus, Adoptee Puff-n-Stuff, and the hash hounds

Having arrived just in time for trail CoV and I (CL) made up for a lack of lubrication right off the bat. Must try to fit in with the hasher horde, get up (down?) to the elevated consciousness that is the hash. It was evident that Jello was involved in the Hash Olympics events earlier in the morning, that this author, unfortunately, did not witness.

Well, there we were standing at the first Beer check (Note: "First" implying more than one... WOOT! WOOT!) with a voting quorom of Happy Valley Hashers when it was decided that full Happy Valley adoption privileges would be granted to Puff-n-Stuff in perpetuity. (I remember it, so you don't need to.) Beer aplenty was involved and the great hasher mass was already pre-lubricated from earlier Hash Olympics festivities. (Jello wrestling, jello slip-n-slide, jell shots, other events that will remain nameless, but did involve Jello, and, of course, beer frisbee.)

At some point, we realized that a majority of the Happy Valley hash was right there, right then, right o. We more than likely (it's all kinda fuzzy) ambled about a sub-trail maybe at the beer check, maybe some other time during the weekend, and voila' HVH3#86 was had and done. Can't recall who was hare, everyone was there, there was beer, there was trail... at least out to the piss tree and back. Hey, we count ém when we can.

The Ithaca Hash put on an excellent event. A private camp ground, The views along trail were just stunning, right from the chalk talk, to the gorges, to the Beer checks to the brewery tour (!) A catered feast back at the 4H camp (the sheep will never be the same), a bit of a nap by the fire (I was just sleeping a bit okay! I was tired.... and worn out from driving and the hash and....It was the bus trip that did me in, okay!) back up in time to do some dancing to an excellent band. Perhaps it was more like drunken careening but it was fun.

All in all it was a damn good barbecue
