Thursday, June 20, 2002 Taste of Amherst
Well, I started off by the big tree on the north side of Amhesrt common at 2000HRS, but no Hashers were there, so, enticed by the beer tent, I walked over and bought a pint glass and some IPA from Maplewood Farm Brewery. The beer was good. So, I walked back over to the said big tree, but no Hashers were there. SOooo, I walked back over to the beer tent and tried a bock beer from Amherst Brewing, and it was good. At about 2035HRS I walked back over to the meeting point and there found Madame Flutterby, but no other Hashers, soooo, we walked back to the beer tent and drank some Pilsner, and you know what? It was good!
We decided to try The Old Amherst Pub, figuring people may not have seen the change of venue e-mail, so we went down there. Nobody was there, so we drank and ate popcorn and discussed summer schedules and possible Hash dates and hash numbers.
Up cumming Hashes will be Nos. 48, 49, & 50. I'm volunteering to Hare hash no. 48, but what I wanna know is , who can make Saturday the 29th of June? (No doubt up here in Franklin County.) Are we really that strict about summer hashes being on Thursday nights? What say you Cainus, C.O.V., and Hand Job, and Cajonas???? Sphincter, you're back from blowing up dirt in Kentucky, can you make the 29th?
We gotta discuss what the hash wants to do about the 50th also. AC
